WAIT Is a Four-Letter Word

No one likes to wait! Even the most patient person can become aggravated when having to wait. Our fleshly nature wants instant gratification and living in a microwave society where we have "fast food" restaurants, "instant" oatmeal, and high-speed Internet, doesn't help. We want what we want, and we want it now!

Journey along with one believer as she struggles to wait on the Lord. Her actions and reactions are fleshly, funny, and lacking in maturity but God lovingly guides her along the path He has chosen for her. Her ultimate goal is to have the desires of her heart, but God's ultimate goal is to have her whole heart.

She often fails miserably and misses the mark but God's grace covers her humanness. As her faith grows, she learns to trust in Him even when everything around her appears contrary to His promises. Her utmost blessings arrive only after she has learned to wait upon the Lord.
