The Journey Of A Latter-Day Pilgrim
The Journey of a Latter-Day Pilgrim is a memoir, set in today’s world, of a personal struggle to reach the celestial city. This journey is fraught with twists and turns, detours and missteps, and represents the convoluted and unexpected experiences and tests that are a part of modern human life.
There are actually two journeys for each pilgrim to make. One is of direction and course, and it is similar for all pilgrims. The second journey is unique for each pilgrim. It is taken alone, and it is characterized by the circumstances of the time, place, people, and events in which the daily challenge is immersed, the choices one makes, and the consequences of those choices.
The second journey is the one described in this memoir. Each experience, challenge, success, and failure outlined is uniquely mine. These experiences are offered as a source of encouragement and comfort for all who are anxiously engaged in the personal journey back to God.
