The Fractured Soul as Days of Sodom
From having worked in the public sector for many years, as a teacher and job counselor, the writer saw the growing hopelessness and needs of families in pain. She went into social work as a children's advocate, having seen child victims of abuse in public settings and while in the classroom. Although having grown up in a single-parent home, she knew love from both maternal and paternal family members whom she spent time with. With earnest compassion toward the needs of children in families, stories are told as they happen and are reported in hopes that persons who have been victimized will be able to tell their story as a way to healing and a way to begin the necessary dialogue to bring about change and public outcry in the quest to eradicate child abuse from our world.
