The Day God Gave Us A Skylight
Dogs are often referred to as man’s best friend. But Marshall’s problem was that he was abandoned. He first needed to find someone who could care about him before he could be loyal and loving in return. This is the story of how Marshall came to find the love of a family, a new life, a new home, and an appreciation of God’s blessings, nature, and the goodness of people all around him.
Marshall is living the good life on the farm with his new family. But then, in the course of a year, two unanticipated and unforeseen events wreak havoc on Marshall’s normally carefree life. Marshall discovers that life is not always easy. And when things get tough, sometimes a family’s only option is to be there for one another.
Marshall experiences how trials and tribulations can strengthen family bonds, drawing family members even closer and creating a whole new realm of love, appreciation, and support. But Marshall also discovers that neighbors, friends, and even complete strangers can really surprise you, coming to your rescue when you need it the most. He comes to realize that even an accident or a bad storm can seem like a blessing in disguise.
