The Contemplative Vagabond

Not formally a writer, Robert Vonkepner was an adventurous and talented surfer who accidently fell into a career working in world-class hotels as a chef and as an innovative chef in California's wine country restaurant scene. Feeling that the culinary arts was not his true calling, he profoundly felt that God was seeking him to follow a different path to glorify the heavenly Father and Son.

At one time, he endeavored to write a book, and that inspired him to pick up a 2b pencil once again and fusing the two together in the creation of The Contemplative Vagabond.

Currently residing on the north coast of Sonoma county, he hikes daily with his German shepherd in the vast expanses so as to gain an inspiring perspective toward his art and writing, which endeavor to speak for social justice, truth, and the burden of one's youth. This book is dedicated to the great commission that all Christians have received through Christ Jesus of Nazareth.
