The Church Breaker
As what is understood as a cradle Christian, Gabe always knew from
childhood that there had to be something “more” to his belief in God
than what he was taught about the Christian faith in the churches he
attended throughout his adult life. In Gabe’s frustration at not knowing why he
felt so strongly that there had to be a “more” to knowing God than only attending
church on Sundays, God began to reveal Himself to Gabe through the Spirit of
Christ. This transformation into that “more” which Gordon did not yet understand
about God’s Spirit, began with God sending what Gabelmann later discovered is
described as the Breaker in the Bible.
Through a vision from God, Gabe understood this Way of the Breaker, which is
the Way of Christ Himself. Gabe was now finding the “more” he was longing for in
his faith in God. He was becoming spiritually “more” aware of what he was missing
in his lack of understanding about True Christianity. That “more” that Gabe’s spirit
was desiring was found to be a personal relationship with Jesus Christ Himself—a
kind of relationship that required breaking through the walls of traditions of the
Church by man, and then walking out into the supernatural kingdom of God with
His Son, Jesus.
Gabelmann describes this Way of the Breaker as a commission of greatness
given to all who believe in the Messiah, Son of the Living God. It is a commission
to make disciples of Jesus who understand that heaven is closer than we think.
God’s kingdom is so close that if we dare reach out to touch it, He will reach
out to touch us back. Through real-life experience as God’s in-house evangelist,
Gabelmann desires to reveal the Church Breaker within all Christians, who is the
Spirit of Christ. This book was written to break people free to discover and follow
the “more” they are desiring in faith in Jesus Christ.
That “more” is to truly understand that Jesus Christ is alive and right here with
us today. The kingdom of God is at hand, literally and spiritually. Gabelmann is on
a mission to break open a way for the Church to not be bound by the restrictions
of religion, but to be free to walk in a relationship with the living Christ.
