The Chronager

Logan looked intently at the remaining captains of the chronager's guardand asked, "We have crossed mountains, fought battles against great odds,and endured the hardships of months in the saddle. Do we press on togather the truth for our king, or do we return home defeated? "The Great Destruction that occurred in the distant past has brought about the end of high-tech civilization. Warring city-states near the eastern sea each claimed their king was descended from the legendary line of American kings that began with the Great Washington. Knowing that continued warfare would result in the ruin of what was left of the civilization, it was agreed that each city-state would appoint a chronager to research the lineage of his king. When Logan Benjamin, fifth chronager of the kingdom of Carolina, makes a startling discovery while digging at the ruins of Washington City, it starts him on an expedition to the west, where he hopes to find proof of his king's claim to the throne of the Great Washington. Logan, his trusted counselor Bryon Smith, his teenage son Conner, and the one-hundred-man chronager guard travel west, where they encounter desperate battles, information about technology that preceded the Great Destruction, and hopefully truth. The Chronager: Expedition to the Western Sea is the first of a series where the Logan, his son, and his men seek to discover the truth about what America was and seek to apply its truth to its future.
