About the authorBrother Bob is a senior citizen who lives in West Virginia, and moved from the Washington D.C. area to West Virginia in 2007. He had a spiritual awakening in West Virginia. While in the D.C. area he discovered a book "God Calling" in a local bookstore - readings, received from Jesus in 1934 by two elderly ladies living in England.He read the book, and believes through faith that these reading are from Jesus, but this belief is up to the reader's interpretation. For over a year Jesus came to these two ladies on a daily basis with new spiritual insights.When Brother Bob moved to West Virginia, he found Christians have a problem. They attend church on Sunday's, but during the week tend to forget about religion until the next Sunday. He decided to use the "God Calling " book as a reference, and compress the daily readings into a three or four line format with the intention of getting the reader to carry this thought through his/her work day. By doing this he felt Jesus could be kept in your daily thoughts, and this would give the reader more inspiration to actively pursue the Christian faith. This book has been inspired by readings received from Jesus in 1934, by two ladies that were living in England who were suffering through hard times. Jesus came to the ladies each day for a year with messages of encouragement. Each reading has been compressed into a shorter version, a thought that can be carried through a normal work day that helps you focus on Jesus and the love that He has for you. Each reading is up to your own interpretation and belief. Read one thought a day, think about its meaning, and remember He was counseling these ladies. His guidance is such that you too can use it.
