Public Private Partnership
The development of infrastructure in Africa, in general, and Nigeria, in particular, has primarily relied on traditional procurement methods through budgetary allocations. Limited government revenue, competing needs, and capacity constraints, among others, have made it challenging to achieve the desired objectives. The essence of this book is to shed light on options for government agencies to explore, a pathway to balancing public need with private capital, ways to allocate and mitigate risks, and to build local capacity.
