Poems from the Heart
Poems from the Heart are me. They are all of my deepest feelings, my emotions, put down on paper for the entire world to see. Writing has been my outlet for such a long time and still is. I share my life through poetry not just for the art and beauty of it, but for the ministry that lies within.
God has given me a talent to write and express through verse, to give others encouragement and motivation. My testimony is shared through these poems. They are all so personal to me and from my heart. Sometimes we get so caught up in our pain and disappointments that we forget that there is someone else who will be able to benefit from our “go-through.”
I don’t write just to write. I write when I feel I have something of value to say. It may have been someone sharing their pain with me, or while folding clothes, I heard a song that inspired me, and then I grabbed my notebook and pen and allowed God to help me begin the poem and to help me understand how it is supposed to sound and flow. But most of all, I desire that people would see his love and his heart in all that I do.
This is real life…my life.
I pray that you are blessed because of it.
