I'm a New Christian: Children's Handbook
Have you ever sat in a church service, seen adults join a church, while bringing their small children along with them? Have you seen those same children in an adult new members class, trying to understand just what is going on? Well, I have and that is what has inspired me to write this book. I have seen many children join with their parents and never really understand what's going on and why they are even involved.I'm a New Christian: Children's Handbook was written to help parents and children's ministry leaders guide children in the areas of salvation and ordinances, followed by many churches. The book will cover salvation explaining how Jesus died to bring us back into relationship with God. That's a hard topic even for adults, so my desire is also to help parents have a better understanding themselves. They will learn that God created churches so his children could gather together to learn about him. There are word search puzzles to help find many of the books of the Bible. They will learn about the special gifts God gave us so we could serve him well. The book also covers baptism, communion, Bible study, prayer, and giving, as well as sharing what we learn about God with others. The book includes a place to keep record of the baptism experience as well as a photo of how it was celebrated that day. This book is a tool for parents, children's ministry leaders, and others who are serving children no matter the capacity.
