Travel with me through the hard times of the Great Depression into the exciting fifties and beyond. Revealed are my exciting eighty-year journey, beginning in the Ozark mountains, where we had to cross the Little Buffalo River on a log to get to school and ride a mule to church. While I was still a young lad, my family became migrant farm workers, eventually landing us in California. From that point, my life’s adventures became a touch of heaven. I have enjoyed at least twenty-three paying jobs, traveled the US and the world, owned numerous airplanes and motorcycles, and even managed to crash a couple of them. My careless activities, in part, are what brought out the miracles in my life. God saved me from serious injury (although I didn’t escape them all) or sudden death many times.

For the older generation, this book is more than just a story. It is a passport back in time to the good old days filled with nostalgia, memories, and lessons learned. For the younger readers, it’s an eye-opening revelation with an opportunity to experience an exciting adventure with one that not only witnessed but lived life to its fullness.
